Client Background:
The client is a leading real estate and commercial facility operator in Accra, Ghana’s capital city. Committed to integrating green technologies across its portfolio of premium commercial complexes, the client aims to enhance service competitiveness and support the Ghanaian government’s initiative to promote sustainable transportation.

Project Challenges:
The client planned to deploy its first public EV chargers in the underground parking garage of its flagship commercial district. This presented multiple challenges: an unstable local power grid, limited and compact installation space, strict building safety regulations, high user-friendliness requirements, and the need for future-ready interfaces to enable networked operations.

Solution:
We delivered a tailored, turnkey solution encompassing hardware, software, and services:

1. Product Selection: Four dual-gun 60kW DC smart chargers were deployed. This configuration offers balanced charging speed and manageable grid impact, while the dual-gun design maximizes service capacity per unit and conserves valuable parking space.
2. Adaptive Design: The chargers feature dust- and moisture-resistant enclosures suitable for underground environments, intelligent thermal management systems to handle Ghana’s hot climate, and a wide input voltage range to tolerate local grid fluctuations.
3. Smart Management: Equipped with 4G connectivity, the units are integrated into our cloud platform—custom-built for international markets. Facility managers can monitor real-time status, set dynamic pricing, manage user access, and generate operational reports via a web dashboard. End users enjoy seamless QR-code-based payment.
4. Professional Deployment: Our technical engineer supervised on-site installation in close collaboration with local electricians, overseeing everything from distribution panel upgrades and cable routing to charger mounting and network commissioning—all compliant with Ghanaian electrical standards.

Implementation Process:
Following project launch, both teams collaborated efficiently. After thorough site surveys and planning, the equipment arrived promptly at Tema Port via sea freight. Post-customs clearance, our engineer conducted technical briefings and guided the installation team through critical tasks, including upgrading the existing electrical capacity and optimizing cable pathways. Upon completion, the system underwent rigorous integrity checks, load testing, and safety inspections. Comprehensive training was also provided to the client’s operations staff on system use and routine maintenance.
